Coming Soon... a comprehensive listing and reviews of local night life.

Theater
The North Shore Center for the Performing Arts in Skokie, "brings the spirit of New York's Lincoln Center and Washington's Kennedy Center to Chicago's bustling North Shore. It is home to three distinct Resident Companies: Centre East, Northlight Theatre, and Skokie Valley Symphony Orchestra." It's also home to a Hot Tix office.

Comedy
The Lincoln Lodge opened its doors in the back of the Lincoln Restaurant in the fall of 2000. "Visitors to The Lincoln Lodge comedy and variety show have reportedly fallen in love with the eclectic entertainment and intimate cabaret setting."

Live Music
The Hideout looks like your typical blue collar bar, but walk into the back room to see a concert and it's like having the show performed in your parent's basement just for you and a few friends. (Assuming your parents have a large stage in their basement.) Ranked among the city's top small music venues, this northside bar is still one of the city's best kept secrets.

Cabaret Metro, on the north side of Chicago, "plays host to a variety of local, regional and national emerging bands and musicians. First opened in 1982, the Metro is the oldest continually owned independent music venue in the United States. The building housing Metro also houses Smart Bar, an underground dance club."
